Automating a Modified Flappy bird

Having been given the environment, I am tasked to automate it by attempting to navigate through the obstacles safely without collision. The flappy bird is now attached to a ROS Laser scanner and must navigate through an asteroid-filled environment. My focus is to develop the behavior and controls of this program.
